We do our very best to breed a horse that will look at a cow, be calm and respectful, and full of color.  We buy stallions that are foundation bred and have proven success as a cow horse in their pedigree.  After our foals are born, we feel that an environment of rolling hills and timber and proper forage and nutrition provide them with everything they need to become successful performance horses.  Take a look below and see what we mean.

Pricing:  Folks, we spend a lot of time riding and training the horses we offer for sale, this provides you with a better horse, but like anything in life, costs a bit more.  The prices on our horses range from $1500 - $7500, most of them in the $2000 - $3000 range.  Drop us a note at sales@simpsonsrollingacres.com  or call us for current pricing

New Additions to the Site

TJ Jaguar

Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to present TJ Jaguar. He is a 7 yr old AQHA reg gelding. He has a lot of heart and could easily be a prospect for youth barrels and poles. He has been trail ridden extensively and will go anywhere you point him. Put him in front and few QH will keep up with him. We've taken him camping and our granddaughters (6 & 8 yrs old) have ridden him alone around camp and on the trail. Nice friendly guy and can be easily caught. He has a pretty head and nice hip and black as a crow and stays that way. If your looking for a middle aged, good looking QH horse gelding, here he is.

He has been trail ridden and has grown up in rugged country and knows what creeks and steep hills look like. He has a lot of heart and would be a great eventing prospect.

Black Baron Red

Here is a nice stout gelding named Black Baron Red. He's the 4 yr old foal from Dusty Cat Shadow and Ima Billy Harlan. He turned out to be a handsome fella, and black as the Ace of Spades with no white. Has a great handle and lots of trail experience, and does not hesitate to go where you want him to go. An extra nice trail horse. He is in your pocket the minute you go to the pasture, and will normally follow you back to the gate, even if he is not the one your after. Our 7yr granddaughter has ridden him on trails by herself, and returned to the camper, while I split off and rode a different trail back to the camper. He is as good minded as you will find.

Baby Doll Dell

Here is a nice AQHA mare we are going to sell. Her name is Baby Doll Dell. She is 9 yrs old. We've raised some real nice foals from her, but having decided to lower our broodmare #'s, are going to put her up for sale. She is a very dark bay. She is quite the athlete. Someone interested in eventing would probably do well with her. Take a good look at her pedigree and see all the points (over 1000) earned by her ancestors, on the sire side alone. Many of her ancestors appear in the Western Horseman "Legends" books Book #3 pg 136-143. A truly outstanding mare and as pretty headed and shapely as they come.
